The History of Bathtubgirl.

I was living in San Diego at the time (February 1999) when my crazy old astrologer friend, Timothy, gave me a small vial of red syrupy liquid. He said, use this liquid for good luck on the night of a full moon and remember, this concoction needs water to create its magic. I walked home knowingly. The moon was full. I ran myself a hot bath and climbed into the tub. When I finished pouring the liquid onto my belly, I felt a strange sensation. My cheeks began to flush. The room began to blur. I gazed into my small plastic shower mirror. Then a few minutes later, the mirror spoke.

"You are Bathtubgirl. The liquidy voice seemed to pulse right through me."

You mean me, I am Bathtubgirl? Yes, said the voice, you are Bathtubgirl. I began to splash in the water with great zest. My vision grew deeper. I called on the moon to bless my surreal adventure. But instead of falling down a hole like Alice in Wonderland, I fell into a trance in my bathtub.

When I am not characterizing myself as Bathtubgirl, I am Kim, a modern day gypsy. I was born and raised in Detroit, Mi. That's right, the Motor City. I went to college in New Orleans where I spent five years at Loyola University studying Film and Art History. Since then I have lived in: San Francisco, Ann Arbor, Sante Fe, Chicago, San Diego, and Los Angeles. I am currently living in Sedona, Arizona.

At one time I was doing seven live streaming shows per week; Spaceage Vaudeville, Bedtime Stories, A Real Bath, Friday Happy Hour, A Night with P4P, Saturday Electronica Hour, and The Church of Love.

I will return to the tub again, for now read my journal.
